WORKING PRINCIPLE
The metal crusher is driven by an electric motor to rotate the main shaft at high speed. High-alloy hammers on the rotor impact the scrap metal fed into the chamber. The material is torn and crushed under the combined effects of hammer strikes, impacts from the machine liner plates, and mutual collisions and kneading. Material of the appropriate particle size passes through the bottom screen and is discharged. Larger pieces continue to be repeatedly crushed inside the chamber until they reach the required discharge size. The equipment has overload protection to prevent damage.
