Solid Waste Disposal Line Delivered to Singapore
Recently, an integrated solid waste disposal line, featuring a twin-shaft shredder and baler machine, completed joint commissioning, testing, and modular packaging at a domestic production base before being shipped to Singapore by sea. The line, purchased by a municipal environmental company in Singapore, will centrally process municipal solid waste, commercial plastic waste, and used packaging materials, helping Singapore achieve its environmental goal of increasing its solid waste recycling rate to 30% by 2030.
Targeting Singapore’s limited land resources and complex solid waste composition, the line was customized. The core twin-shaft shredder, equipped with a wear-resistant alloy blade assembly, can shred 15-25 tons of multi-type solid waste per hour, achieving a 70% volume reduction. The accompanying hydraulic baler compresses the shredded material into high-density bales, significantly reducing storage and transportation space. The entire system utilizes a closed-loop design and is equipped with odor treatment and dust collection devices, ensuring full compliance with Singapore’s Environmental Public Health Act. Prior to shipment, the technical team completed three rounds of full-process joint debugging with Singaporean representatives and provided both Chinese and English operating manuals and remote operation and maintenance support solutions.
Singapore is currently accelerating its efforts to become a “zero waste nation,” creating an urgent need for efficient solid waste disposal equipment. The export of this integrated disposal line not only addresses the challenges of low solid waste treatment efficiency and large land use in the region, but also demonstrates the system integration capabilities of domestic environmental protection equipment. The two parties will also collaborate on equipment operation and maintenance training and treatment process optimization, providing a “Chinese solution” for solid waste treatment in Southeast Asian cities.
