XRIDO 1000 Scrap Iron Shredder Shipped to Vietnam
Recently, an XRIDO 1000 scrap iron shredder (xrido machine) was loaded into a container and departed from a Chinese port for Vietnam, which will help upgrade the local scrap metal recycling industry to achieve higher efficiency and larger scale.
As one of the fastest-growing industrial countries in Southeast Asia, Vietnam generates over 5 million tons of scrap iron resources annually, 70% of which comes from the industrial manufacturing sector. With the continuous increase in demand for recycled raw materials from local steel companies, traditional manual sorting and small-scale crushing equipment are no longer sufficient to meet the needs of large-scale processing. The XRIDO 1000 scrap iron shredder shipped this time is specifically designed for heavy metal materials such as scrap iron and scrap steel. It adopts a dual-shaft independent drive system, equipped with high-hardness alloy steel blades, and can easily shred materials such as steel plates up to 50mm thick, scrapped car frames, and industrial scraps. The output particle size after shredding is uniformly controlled at 100-200mm, significantly improving the efficiency of subsequent transportation and smelting.
Compared to ordinary waste shredders, the XRIDO 1000 model features intelligent overload protection, automatically reversing and stopping when encountering uncrushable materials, effectively reducing equipment wear and tear. Combined with an optional waste metal recycling and sorting line, it can accurately separate steel, non-ferrous metals, and non-metallic impurities from shredded materials, achieving a metal recovery rate of over 95%. The purity of sorted scrap iron can be increased to 91%, directly bringing enterprises a 15%-20% sales premium per ton.
In recent years, the Vietnamese government has introduced policies such as the “Regulations on the Management of Recycled Resources,” providing a 15% VAT reduction for compliant recycling companies and mandating that manufacturing enterprises hand over more than 60% of their scrap metal to licensed units for processing. The introduction of the XRIDO 1000 scrap iron shredder will help local recycling companies quickly meet policy requirements, reduce operating costs, and build an integrated “crushing-sorting-purification” processing system, promoting the green and intelligent transformation of Vietnam’s waste metal recycling industry.
